Readme

This is a HTML version of a text format of the book "At the Earth's Core" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, published in 1922. It is designed to be placed in a folder or on a diskette and be read by any browser. This HTML version was created because I prefer reading text through a browser, with a variable pitch font, rather than through a text reader in a fixed font. I have tried to make this document as simple as possible to work in a variety of browsers. I have also made the document internally referenced so it can be read off-line, without tying up an Internet connection. The document uses 8.3 style filenames so it can be read using DOS or Windows 3.1.

I would suggest adjusting the frame width until the capitalized words at the beginning of the chapter take up one almost full line. This should give you a comfortable line length for reading.
